Miradouro da Grota do Inferno is a must-visit viewpoint close to Sete Cidades. There’s a short hike and climb up to it, but the views truly are spectacular.
Translated it would mean Hell’s Grotto Viewpoint. Not sure why it is so…strong, but you can see a number of volcanic calderas, besides the main one with the lake.
